Competencies

Pursuant to Article 10 of the Decision on the Organization, Scope and Manner of Performing the Tasks of the Administration of the City of Skopje (“Official Gazette of the City of Skopje” No. 12/5 and 15/7) Spatial Planning and Organization Department :

  1. performs the activities related to the organization and implementation of the procedure for adoption of the Spatial Plan of the City of Skopje, the General Urban Plan of the City of Skopje and the procedure for adoption of the detailed urban plans of the municipalities in the City of Skopje;
  2. arrangement of building land;
  3. setting standards and giving consent for the installation of temporary buildings, furniture and urban equipment on the territory of the City of Skopje;
  4. realization of programs for construction of infrastructure and capital facilities;
  5. coordinates its work with other departments within the city administration and performs other tasks entrusted to it.
